Public hearing to consider the advisability of adopting a local law amending the Code of the Village of Port Chester, Chapter 321-3 (B) to increase the maximum weight of vehicles parked on residential premises

Public hearing to amending Chapter 345 of the Code of the Village of Port Chester imposing a temporary development moratorium on Battery Energy Storage Systems in order to review and make necessary changes to the Zoning Code.

Port Chester Carver Center is in the process of completing a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application for the purchase and installation of security cameras. Additionally, Port Chester Carver Center would like to submit a second Community Development Block Grant application for the purchase of a passenger van with removable seats (to transport large quantities of food for the Carver Market food pantry as well as clients/participants for offsite program opportunities

Caritas of Port Chester, Inc. dba Meals on Main Street is intending to apply for a 2024 Westchester County Block Grant. Caritas intended use of the grant over the next three years, beginning in 2025. Succinctly, in 2025, MOMS objective is to hire a: • Volunteer Coordinator, • Mobile pantry driver and pantry associate, and • Cook for our expanded kitchen. In year 2026, MOMS would like to expand our cooler capabilities. Lastly, in year 2027, MOMS would like to open another hub to support our growth
